Get ready for two days of pure blues power as Thornborough’s Down on the Farm Blues Festival returns for another summer weekend of live music and laid-back outdoor vibes.
This year brings an impressive mix of bands and performers—ranging from raw blues-rock to soulful guitar-driven sets—making it one of the standout weekends in the Thornborough calendar.

Thornborough Event Field is conveniently located at Redhill Road, Birmingham B38 9EH (Redhill Car Boot field, next to the Donkey Sanctuary). Nestled in a picturesque rural setting yet just a stone’s throw from Birmingham city, our location combines the best of both worlds.
By Car: We’re easily accessible by car. If you’re using a satnav, simply enter our postcode, B38 9EH, and it will lead you straight to us. There’s ample parking available on-site.
By Public Transport: If you’re travelling by train, the nearest station is Kings Norton, which is a short taxi ride away from Thornborough Event Field. Several bus routes also serve the area.
By Bike or On Foot: If you live locally and prefer to cycle or walk, there are several safe and scenic routes to reach us.
Once you arrive, you’ll see signs directing you to the event entrance, parking areas, and facilities. Our friendly team will also be on hand to help guide you.
