Family Fun Day 2025

The Family Fun Day returned to Thornborough for a relaxed, activity-filled day designed for families, children, and dog owners.
The event offered a mix of children’s attractions, live entertainment, stalls, food, and space to enjoy an easy-going day outdoors. With activities spread across the venue, families were able to arrive, settle in, and enjoy the day at their own pace.
Alongside the main attractions, the event also featured animal interactions, local craft stalls, and a licensed bar, making it a welcoming day out for all ages.
The Family Fun Day returned in 2026 with an updated programme and activities.

What the Event Included
- Free inflatables for children
- Animal meet-and-greet sessions with Happyfields Animal Sanctuary
- Craft and local trader stalls
- Live music and family-friendly entertainment

Thornborough Event Field is located on Redhill Road, Birmingham B38 9EH (the Redhill Car Boot field, next to the Donkey Sanctuary).
By Car:
Thornborough is easily accessible by car. If you’re using a sat nav, enter B38 9EH and it will take you directly to the venue. On-site parking is available for event attendees.
By Public Transport:
The nearest train station is Kings Norton, which is a short taxi ride from the venue. Several local bus routes also serve the area.
On Arrival:
Clear signage will direct you to the event entrance, parking areas, and facilities. Event staff will be on site to help where needed.
