80s Weekend 2025
Friday 11 & Saturday 12 July 2025
The 80s Weekend returned to Thornborough for two days of live music celebrating some of the biggest hits and most recognisable anthems of the 1970s and 1980s.
Across the weekend, tribute acts and performers delivered a mix of pop, rock, and new wave classics, creating a lively, singalong-friendly atmosphere in Thornborough’s open-air venue. With space to dance, relax, and enjoy the music, the event attracted a broad crowd of nostalgic music fans and casual festival-goers alike.
Live Music Line-Up
Friday | 5pm – 10pm
A Friday evening focused on classic hits and new wave favourites:
- Pete Harrington – performing well-known songs from the 70s and 80s
- Depeche Mode Tribute – synth-pop and new wave anthems
Saturday | 12pm – 11pm
A full day of 80s pop and rock performances:
- ABBA Tribute
- George Michael Tribute
- Rock Classics by Adrian Michaels
- Simply 80s by Lisa Morrall

Food & Drink
Festival food and drinks were available throughout the weekend, including classic hot food options such as burgers, hot dogs, jacket potatoes, and pizza. Licensed bars served beer, cider, wine, and soft drinks.
Camping & Facilities
Camping was available on site for those wishing to stay overnight, with facilities including toilets, showers, and water points. Parking was available for both day visitors and campers.

Thornborough Event Field is located on Redhill Road, Birmingham B38 9EH (the Redhill Car Boot field, next to the Donkey Sanctuary).
By Car:
Thornborough is easily accessible by car. If you’re using a sat nav, enter B38 9EH and it will take you directly to the venue. On-site parking is available for event attendees.
By Public Transport:
The nearest train station is Kings Norton, which is a short taxi ride from the venue. Several local bus routes also serve the area.
On Arrival:
Clear signage will direct you to the event entrance, parking areas, and facilities. Event staff will be on site to help where needed.
