The Country & Western Sausage & Cider Festival returns to Thornborough for another summer weekend of live music, good food, and relaxed festival atmosphere.
Across two days, enjoy live country and western bands, a selection of sausages and ciders, and plenty of space to settle in, eat well, and enjoy the music. It’s one of Thornborough’s most popular themed weekends, known for its friendly crowd and easy-going pace.
Whether you’re a long-time country fan or just looking for something a bit different, this is a laid-back weekend built around music, food, and a good time outdoors.

- A range of food traders, including sausage and street food options
- Cider bars alongside licensed bars serving beers, spirits, and soft drinks
- A relaxed, welcoming atmosphere suitable for all ages

Thornborough Event Field is located on Redhill Road, Birmingham B38 9EH (the Redhill Car Boot field, next to the Donkey Sanctuary).
By Car:
Thornborough is easily accessible by car. If you’re using a sat nav, enter B38 9EH and it will take you directly to the venue. On-site parking is available for event attendees.
By Public Transport:
The nearest train station is Kings Norton, which is a short taxi ride from the venue. Several local bus routes also serve the area.
On Arrival:
Clear signage will direct you to the event entrance, parking areas, and facilities. Event staff will be on site to help where needed.
